It's good to know that Democrats and Republicans can unite behind the important things

Jon Stewart also had a great time making fun of the hearing. It's a bit long and drawn out, but the title of the segment was great "It's the Best Damn Sports Hearing." and then he commented on the -at the time- partisan sniping at/protection of Clemens and said that Clemens is an "overgrown, baseball-obsessed, Texas man-child who cannot take any responsibility for his actions...oh my God! They think he's the president! That's why the Republicans are on his side."

Colbert's clip is shorter. "I got to hand it to the Congressional Democrats...they may not be able to do anything about the war, or torture, or domestic spying, but they can tear into a baseball player like a piranha stripping a cow."

Speaking of the President and baseball, he just honored the Red Sox at the White House and had a great quote. "We welcome Daisuke [pitcher originally from Japan] here to the South Lawn. His press corps is bigger than mine, and we both have trouble answering questions in English."
