Did she get flustered under the pressure? I mean, we have all said really stupid things before in a presentation setting? Is she really just not that sharp? Both? Neither?

It's so hard to tell. I mean, she really does sound genuinely dumb. But lord knows I've said some stupid things when I've been nervous. Luckily, none of those moments are floating around on Youtube. It does make me sad though.
I watched part of her appearance on the Today Show. She said she didn't hear the question or something. But wouldn't you ask them to repeat the question? I may not answer the question correctly, but I'd like to think that I would sound coherent at the very least.

How's this for an answer. I think that there is a universal map shortage in the US. When I take the crown as Miss Teen USA, I'll deliver a map to every child in America.
